Naturally Slim’s NSTown - a new type of community

Late yesterday, a press release went out about NSTown, a community for participants in the Naturally Slim Healthy Lifestyle Class (a corporate-sponsored weight loss and wellness program). The announcement wasn’t just exciting for cubeless but was for me personally, as well. I participated in the class last year, lost 15 pounds, and learned things about eating smarter that will serve me for a lifetime. Even before NSTown was created, a lot of us at Sabre were supporting each other in a Naturally Slim group we had created in our own global employee community.

One of the main reasons we’re thrilled about NSTown is that it’s yet another type of community, with obvious business value, that can be custom-configured with cubeless. We already knew the power of cubeless – through its underlying relevance engine — to help employees inside a company find and connect with each other around the world.In addition, we’ve also launched customer communities and trade association communities. NSTown, though, demonstrates the benefits of a secure community created with a highly targeted purpose but with members across a number of different companies.

We also just launched our first community for one of the world’s largest non-profit organizations… more on that soon.
